An unusual documentary in which three convicted fathers, at the request of the director, start writing tales - starring their own children - which they shoot with the help of the crew. As the creative process unfolds, we gain insight into the daily lives of families in the absence of family heads, and the fathers' stories open doors in the minds of the creators that they themselves had not anticipated. From paternal love, fragile relationships and lives gone wrong, magical stories emerge, but can a work of art as powerful as a therapy session make a lasting difference to lives?
