Kinga Maksai (HUN)

She's been enchanted by stories since she can remember. It started with cinema, followed by literature. She loved books already as a child. Not much has changed since then, except that she is the mom of a little boy who is about to learn to read (and is a true film enthusiast). She graduated from Literature and Film at Eötvös Loránd University, and studied television production at the old University of Theatre and Film Arts. She watched heaps of films in those years: Bollywood, anime, French New Wave, feminist films, you name it. She has been striving to pass on her enthusiasm to the teens at Illyés Academy in Budaörs, where she teaches Film/Media Studies and Literature, and sometimes appears at the vocational art course. She published her first novel, Mia & Maja five years ago. Four more books were published since then, the latest being a psycho thriller, Most már biztosan hazaér. She can't wait to see the films at Primaima.
