Jacqueline Molnár studied at the Hungarian University of Arts and Desing, where she gained her master's degree in animation and graphic design in 1998. With the support of Soros Foundation, she studied in Groningen, Amsterdam and Berlin between 1995 and 1998. She produced several short films at Pannonia Film Studio as a member of the creative collective Grácia Alkotócsoport. She has been illustrating children's books since 1999, publishing over 50 volumes at numerous Hungarian (Móra, Pagony, EMB Music Publishing, etc.) and international (Cruïlla, Clavis, Pushkin Press, etc.) publishers. Besides working as an illustrator, she teaches art workshops at festivals, schools, and museums, focusing on migration, acceptance, tolerance and creativity. She was Illustrator of the Year in 2014.In 2023, she worked in the Catalan Pavilion's team at the Venice Architecture Biennale, where she coordinated and taught graphic design workshops with Senegalese youth.
